How easy is it to create this street interview style yourself?
Let’s have a go at recreating this style ourselves and see how easy it is to achieve.
First steps - log in to yapper.so and select Create Video. Let’s create our own characters for the interview and use Custom Actor Scene.
Choose the Scene Actors first. For this style there is already a handy interviewer character so let’s pick one of those.
For the second character, the person being interviewed, we will make our own customized character called Becky.
Type something simple into the prompt, for example: “Female party goer wearing glow in the dark raving outfit, enjoying a night out.”
Then click Enhance to get the tool to elaborate on that description and make the prompt more ideal for what we need. It might look something like this:

That’s fair enough. Might be experiencing some kind of early 2000’s or late 90’s time warp with that neon getup with the LED’s, but style never goes out of fashion.
I did not suggest that the person would be British so I’m taking no responsibility for that, but happy with the outcome there and sounds like a good party girl character.
Next, select the Scene options - camera default and style realistic.
Enter the Prompt
Take a look at the sample prompt. To easily create your own video you can add in your own questions in the space provided, or simply delete all the conversation and put your own dialogue in.
Get creative and change the scene around, try a different location - maybe at a festival or on vacation somewhere.
Remember you can always enhance any part of the prompt but we have left it simple here with only one or two sentences to show how easily it can be done, while still getting a photorealistic effect.
Environment:
In an outdoor seating area on the rooftop of a nightclub. Vines are hung about the place with multi-colored lights and a faint flickering of green lasers from another part of the club.
Sheltered benches are arranged around wooden tables and are full of young people in the background, engaged in lively talking and merriment.
Character Direction:
Courtside Interviewer is interviewing Becky who is enjoying a night out. Style - independent small TV channel or social media channel interview.
Courtside Interviewer asks: "Can I ask you a personal question.....[insert your own strange question]?"
Becky looks slightly worried or concerned at first but upon hearing the question she instantly brightens up, laughing and turning to face the camera directly to say enthusiastically:
"[insert your own wild reply here]"

Prompt Tips for AI Street Interviews
As with any AI generated video, the key part is the prompt. It only needs two or three sentences but if you get these right then the video will be spectacular.

Describing the Environment
Think about the environment or location where the interview is taking place and try to picture it in your own head. Is it a sunny day on the beach or is the interview taking place during a rollercoaster ride?
Think about lighting elements and background details - is it a soft neon glow from multicolored lamps, or a harsh flickering of a strobe light reflecting on sweaty faces?
Without trying to type anything into the prompt at first. Just close your eyes and try to imagine the place and what it would look like. This will make it much easier if you have an overall vision in mind that you are aiming for.
You can also include the “extras” or background characters that are not your main actors but make up the scene - other people at the party or pedestrians walking down the street.
Character Direction
This is normally the main section of the prompt where you describe the action in your video, what actually happens.
For AI street interviews however, the amount of character direction needed is relatively little. For this reason they are a good style option to get started and try it yourself.
You are not, for example, explaining some complex procedure as your hero escapes through a labyrinth maze with a series of traps each more challenging than the last.
You could create that of course, but today we are looking at AI street interviews so the amount of character direction needed is relatively simple.
The AI has already got some idea of the overall flavor of the video from the environment, scene actors and style that has been described to it.
So really the main action is the conversation between the interviewer and the other character in the scene. A lot of the substance will be in the dialogue and most trending AI street interviews are really just mimicking real life vlogs.
It’s not exactly Shakespeare or anything, so have a go and try some different dialogue options, various characters and situations they might find themselves in.
Remember to refer to the characters by their assigned name to make it easier for the system eg “Court side Interviewer says…Becky leans to the left” etc
To add to the realism of the scene you could add extra direction to the characters. For example, your character might be swaying drunkenly, or talking in a loud voice while clinging onto their friends.
Of course, with AI video creation you can really get creative. So it doesn’t have to be your typical street interview - the guy could pop out a trashcan with the lid resting on his head when he asks the question.
